Introducing the world’s first platinum extra añejo tequila, a category-defining spirit aged over three years in a harmonious blend of American whiskey and French Bordeaux barrels. Through a meticulous filtration process, the tequila emerges crystal-clear, boasting a silky smooth finish. The flavor profile is rich, warm, and layered, featuring notes of vanilla, toasted oak, butterscotch, and spice.
A Natural Pairing
In 2023, QUI formed an exclusive partnership with globally renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Recognizing QUI’s dedication to craftsmanship and elegance, Nobu selected it as the creator of his annual, limited-edition tequila releases, a celebration of excellence and refinement shared between two icons of taste.
A Historic Collaboration
To commemorate Chef Nobu’s 30th anniversary, legendary artist KAWS collaborated with Nobu and QUI, his first foray into spirits in over 25 years. Known for work that commands millions at auction, KAWS lent his iconic visual language to a bespoke bottle and box design. This ultra-limited edition featured a 25-year-old distillate, created in 1999, aged in oak barrels and finished in stainless steel tanks to preserve its brilliance. The resulting spirit is layered with cherry, honey, toffee, dried orange, white pepper, and slow-cooked agave, “a flavor experience that’s refined but layered with complexity, much like Nobu’s cuisine,” wrote Forbes in 2024. Only 1,650 units per colorway were released, with Chef Nobu personally reserving 100 sets for VIP clientele. The crown jewel of the collection was the Magnum Edition, a breathtaking 1.75L of 25-year extra añejo tequila. With only 50 bottles produced and just 20 remaining, each is hand-numbered and highly collectible. More than a bottle, it’s a cultural statement, a convergence of innovation, artistry, and heritage.
